Life Happens….to All of Us

Upon working with a programmer for Random Star Music’s BETA version, I told him, “Beware when working with me for I’m the Universe’s Chosen One.  The Universe chose me to be the living example of Murphy’s Law, whatever can go wrong, will!”

Upon saying that, he laughed a little until noticing that there was no smile on my face.  I was dead serious.  And as sure as I told him, everything went to shit.

See, I’ve been working with this body of mine for quite some time now and though I believe I have a small inkling of an idea on what my purpose on Earth is, I’m 100% positive on God’s/the Universe’s decision that it (anything I want to accomplish) is NOT coming to me easily.  At this point of my life you either ACCEPT it, or RUN from it and accept mediocrity.  So an acceptance of a choice HAS to made, just depending on who’s making the decision depends on the path one will travel.

So RandomStarMusic.com BETA is late, of course, and if you let the Universe tell it, that is what’s supposed to happen.  Problems and issues ranging from: the programmer’s end; to the server’s end; to the hosting company’s end (and to preserve their corporate image, I’ll renege from mentioning their name); and etc have contributed to the late release.

A month behind schedule, “experienced” developers, programmers, internet business owners, and others in related fields, that I have released the fury of a tornado/hurricane joint task force of a wrath to, have said, “this is normal, expect it”.  (Which normally generates a response similiar to “LIKE HELL I WILL!”, or something like that…I mainly remember the “wrong thing to say” face they make afterwards versus the exact words I used.)

But the sheer thought of what I know better is what calms me.  Once the thought of the Universe’s and my relationship settles in, the following “conversation” occurs within me between the Perfectionist, Business Owner, and Individual with a slight case of OCD: “It hasn’t changed for years, why would it now?  And if it does change, eventually, it’s not going to be anytime soon, so make a decision. Are you going to ACCEPT the challenge(s), or the “lay-down-do-something-easy” choice?”

So with that being said, we continue to take more steps to ensure basic proper functionality of BETA onced it’s released.  Hopefully this happens before the world ends, men start having babies, we spontaneously combust from contaminated Ozone protection, and we greet each other telepathically from the privacy of our spaceships.
